We will once again talk about one of my favorite subjects – safety!
When I was little, I would look at those who turned 18 and rode without a helmet, and I would say to myself … one day I too …
And then the age really came and I took off my helmet …
For a few good years I rode without. And nothing happened to me.
Suddenly, one day, on 1.9.95, I looked at my horse and quietly said to myself, “I do not trust you” and put on a helmet. There really was no logical explanation for this story, but that’s what it was.
That day my horse got scared, he was so scared that he locked up and ran toward me in the direction of the fence … and jumped her … I, with a flicker, flew … I did not just fly – I flew on a stone with my head!
I did not know who I was, where I was, what day I was in, and whether this terrible thing really happened to me or that I was dreaming at all.
I went home (how they gave me only God knows), and went to bed … I woke up throwing up … so I realized that apparently the part of the fall from the horse did not dream …
From here to there, our story today, as you probably already guessed, is on the riding helmet!
So beyond my own miracle, which without a helmet you would not have been able to hear about,
Since that day I’m rising, even if it’s just for a walk, with only a helmet!
So speaking of a helmet-
Here are some things you need to know.
The helmet is actually the size of your head. That is, if the head circumference is 56 cm – then that is the degree of the helmet!
In addition, you want a helmet to have a standard mark, one that will really protect you at the right time.
