Daily Tip Corner:
As one who has been working with horses for over 30 years (!), I’m still learning … (I would have lost interest if not!)

When I was in France, with four horses, three of them young, huge and very green,
I used every tip I could and visited quite a lot of equipment stores in my search for the solution to the problem that was at the time … (well it’s easy, I’m known as equipment addict …)

One of the solutions that I have found, and which I use to this day, is the LUNGING ROPE.
This is a kind of thick rope, coated with soft cotton.
It is on the horse’s back, descending downward, and moves between the front legs towardto the horse’s bit.
(Easier to understand from the attached image).

What is his role?
He can explain to the horse that the most comfortable place for him, in this practice, is down and loose. (You should pay attention not to put the accessory too short!).
And in doing so I achieve relaxation and extension of the neck and back through the lunging work, in a short time and effortlessly!

This is exactly the same workout I like to do the day after a competition or strenuous work, it can also be the first workout I will do after a day off …

I myself use some of the horses in this accessory when connected to the halter … (the horses really like it!)

Where do I buy the LUNGING ROPE?
