Daily tip:
The daily tip is dedicated to anyone who does / does or will grow foals …
As a self-raised hippopotamus myself, I found that no matter how hard I tried, I brought in excellent French mothers, imported excellent German flow, helped by the best veterinarians in the country and …
Both the mares and the surrogates were successfully absorbed …
And now remains to wait for the litter …

So, to my relief, the litters were good, two out of three, even I was present, and in the third time I was lucky …

Then I moved to miniature horse breeding …
Here I no longer needed a veterinarian – I have a male and he plows the whole flock …
But in the escapes … God save!
If I’m not here it’s already a tough opera –
The foal gets stuck, or comes out in a closed bag and chokes …
And here comes my daily recommendation to you …

Whether you are raising a large or miniature horse,
Would you prefer a good birth and would you rather be present right?

So tip how do I do that?
1. I close the mare in the stall under the camera (see previous tips on good cameras)
2. I put on the mare a system called FOALING ALARM, this system consists of several parts, one attached to the mansion’s house and can report to another device on the condition of the mare lay for more than 3 seconds continuous … The device that receives the message calls me mobile! (All you need is to put your own SIM in the system, no need to connect to the Bezeq line, the system communicates with a stand-alone SIM)

Is a link to such a system:

This is exactly the system I use and thanks to it I can tell when the mares are giving birth (or sleeping really hard …)

And now seriously …
You have invested so much, both financially and emotionally … You do not want to have a live foal?

This is for this time … See you tomorrow 🙂
