Since I met and started working with young horses – I have become a groove of work from the ground …
Everything I can solve from the ground, avoiding situations of conflict and incomprehension from the saddle – I certainly do from the ground.
So I found myself looking after accessories that would help me explain myself better to the horse, and also on how to help the horse work on balance, transitions and more, and all this before the horse should also understand exactly my weight on my back … what can only add Confusion for the young horse.
What do I teach them?
What not?!!
I teach them obstacles,
I teach them transitions,
I teach them to come together,
I teach them to lengthen,
I teach them to listen to voice and more!

Today we will talk about an accessory that helps me a lot in working with a young horse and an adult!
The DOUBLE LUNGING LINE, or in Hebrew – the Double Long.

With this accessory I work and sharpen the transitions, listening to the voice, balance, teaching it more accurately on my outer and inner hand, and in short – actually riding the horse off the ground.
For a horse that does not yet understand the rider, it is a way of getting traffic through the body, receiving immediate feedback – all without wars and without any difficulty at all!
